SPONSOR A VETERAN AT OUR HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC
**Update** to the Natural Horsemanship Clinic with Tim Hayes, author of "Riding Home: The Power of Horses to Heal"
We have adapted our clinic format to take advantage of a unique opportunity to introduce a group of 15 veterans to natural horsemanship, at no cost to the veteran. They will have two days working hands-on with our mustangs under the guidance of author and Natural Horsemanship clinician Tim Hayes.
Our Board is sponsoring five veterans, and American Legion Post 800 will sponsor others. We have capacity for 15 veterans, and there are six slots left. If you are interested, please purchase a Sponsor Ticket or contact Ray Barmore at (951) 659-4687.
Your $400 Sponsorship will cover the cost of One Veteran's room, board and 2-Day Clinic.
This event is not intended for therapeutic results but rather exploring the human-animal connection, its health benefits, and the positive interactions between horse and human.
The human-animal connection is one of the most fundamental bonds we can experience. Living Free Animal Sanctuary and War Horse Creek are focused on exploring the roles that animals play in creating healing environments. The immediate and long-term health benefits of animals on the mind, body, and spirit continue to emerge. While many of us intuitively understand the benefits of positive interactions with animals in our lives, recent studies are recognizing the impact the human-animal bond can have on individual and community health.
Donations and Sponsorships are open to all. The clinic is for Sponsored Veterans only, therefore there will be no auditing of the clinic.
